Some of these recipes could be appetizers as well. If you can put it in a container, carry it around, and eat it discretely with your fingers, I'm more inclined to call it a snack.
On the Internet, however, there is no check on silly rules, because on the
Internet, increasingly, rules are enforced not by a human but by a machine:
