Overloading the Machine
Sazerac
- 1/2 teaspoon simple syrup
- 1½ ounces (35ml) Sazerac Rye Whiskey or Buffalo Trace Bourbon
- 3 spritzes absinthe
- 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
- Lemon twist
In a mixing glass full of ice, combine simple syrup, rye, and bitters.
Spritz an Old Fashioned glass with the absinthe.
Strain the drink into the glass.
Serve with a twist of lemon.
